# Introduction

DataTie is a modular and decentralized storage Layer 2 solution built on the BNB Chain. DataTie addresses the challenge of storing large amounts of dynamic data that exceed the capacity of a single node through its modular and decentralized storage Layer 2 solution. By implementing dynamic data sharding and Proof of Storage mechanisms, DataTie enables efficient and secure storage of vast datasets on the BNB Chain.
